After 21 years of leaving motorcycling, I was in the position to restart my love of riding with a 23-year-old bike, the 1998 Honda CB400 Super Four ver S. The bike was left untouched for at least 8 years judging from the old tyres on it, so the rebuilding process took a bit of time and resources.
I also did not want it to look like any other bike out there, so the first order of business, aside from restarting the engine, was to customise its overall stance into a cafe racer look. So after four months of agonising wait and dreaming about how it would feel like riding the bike, it was finally ready, at least for now.
Without further ado, I hereby present to you, the first iteration of my second bike ever, the ’98 CB400 Cafe Racer.
